and Innovation

Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael-Jewish National Fund’s (KKL-JNF) research projects and initiatives create partnerships and new technologies that benefit people and the environment in Israel and the world.
In cooperation with leading academic institutions, KKL-JNF supports and initiates groundbreaking research in the fields of forestry, agriculture, water management, wildlife and plant reintroduction, and alternative energy, as well as Israel’s history and heritage. Initiatives include over 150 environmental and food security-related research projects per year.

KKL-JNF shares its knowledge and know-how in forestry, arid land management and food security with arid and third-world countries, helping strengthen their environmental resilience and adaptation in preparation for climate change and extreme weather events.

This website is dedicated to all KKL-JNF research projects conducted and led by KKL-JNF Forestry Division, The Chief Scientist Unit and in the R&D stations. In each section you will find information on the relevant topic and find available projects for donation.
