International Day of Persons with Disabilities 2025

At KKL-JNF, access and inclusion are no mere slogan; they are central to what we do.
Today, around 370 of our tourism sites are accessible to visitors with special needs, with more planned for the future. We also run inclusive informal educational programs and activities for people of all abilities. Inside KKL-JNF, we continue expanding employment opportunities for people with disabilities.
There are 1.7 million people with disabilities in Israel, around 18% of the population. Since October 7, this number has grown sharply, with more than 20,000 newly injured soldiers registered at the Defense Ministry’s Rehabilitation Division (as of Sep 25).
Together, we can help ensure that every person with special needs in Israel has full access to nature, community, and a hopeful future.
