Name: Revitalizing the South
Description: The communities near Israel’s southern border with Gaza have been on the frontlines for decades, suffering constant rocket and mortar fire, kite terror, and most recently and devastatingly, the October 7 attack.
Name: Revitalizing the North
Description: On October 8, 2023, as Hamas-led terrorists still roamed the southern towns and kibbutzim, Hezbollah entered the fray, raining missiles and rockets down on northern Israel.
Name: Rehousing Kfar Aza Evacuees>
Description: We have a long-time working relationship with the residents of Kibbutz Kfar Aza, and with its late council head Ofir Libstein Z”L, who was killed defending his community on October 7.
Name: Restoring Battle-Scarred Landworks
Description: Not just people and communities, but also the land itself has been scarred by October 7 and the ensuing Iron Swords War. Forests and tourism infrastructure have been burnt by rocket fire and interceptions; roads, parks and fields bear the scars of missile and shrapnel impact, others still from the “kite terror” of the recent past.
Name: Honoring Nova Victims
Description: The Nova music festival grounds at Re’im, once filled with music and light, are now a powerful symbol of loss - and of love. There, KKL-JNF has established a unique memorial to honor the 364 lives brutally cut down on October 7. Styled after the bright red anemones that bloom here each February, the memorial provides bereaved families and visitors a space for reflection, mourning, and unity.
Name: Creating Resilient Communities
Description: In the wake of trauma, healing begins with connection, care, and continuity. KKL-JNF supports educational programs, therapeutic activities, and community-building initiatives that help children and families process grief, regain stability, and grow stronger together. These projects foster resilience - nurturing not only individual recovery, but the collective strength of an entire community.
