Name: Protecting Northern Israel’s Frontline Communities - Portable Bomb Shelters for Northern Israel
Description: Life on Israel’s Northern Border Under Fire Northern Israel’s border communities have been living under continuous threat since the outbreak of the Iron Sword War and the escalation along Israel’s northern border. Residents, farmers, emergency teams, and local authorities face ongoing attacks, repeated alarms, and dangerous exposure in both urban and agricultural areas.
Name: Strengthening Community on Israel’s Northern Border Renovation of the Synagogue in Ein Ya'akov
Description: A Resilient Community in the Western Galilee. Ein Ya'akov is a rural moshav in the Western Galilee, located near Israel’s northern border, east of Nahariya. Established in 1950, the community is home to approximately 1,000 residents. Its population reflects a blend of long-time agricultural families and younger families who have chosen to build their lives in the Galilee, maintaining a strong communal and religious character.
Name: Connecting Community, Preserving Dignity An Accessible Walking Path for Holocaust Survivors in Akko
Description: At the heart of Akko’s long-established neighborhoods operates the Mofet (“Tikvatenu”) social Club - a vital community hub for Holocaust survivors. This project created a well-lit, landscaped pedestrian strip connecting residential buildings and public facilities to the club, providing safe and dignified access while enhancing community life and resilience.
Name: Strengthening Community Resilience in the Lower Galilee Protected Community Space at the Gilon Sports Center
Description: Gilon, located in the heart of the Galilee within the Misgav Regional Council, is a growing community and home to the Gilon Sports Center - an important regional hub for educational, sports, and community activities serving nearby communities across Misgav.
Name: Strengthening a Home for Druze Youth in the Galilee Covered Pathways and Entrance at Hurfeish Children’s Village
Description: KKL-JNF is leading an environmental development project at Hurfeish Children’s Village in the Upper Galilee, home to about 40 Druze children and youth ages 3–18 from communities across northern Israel. The project will create shaded and accessible pathways and upgrade the village entrance, improving safety and daily comfort for the children. By supporting this initiative, you will help strengthen a nurturing residential environment where vulnerable youth can grow, learn, and build a stable future.
Name: Renovating the Holocaust Survivors Community Club in Karmiel - A Place of Dignity, Memory, and Community
Description: The Holocaust Survivors Community Club in Karmiel serves as a vital gathering place for elderly survivors, providing social activities, companionship, and a connection to the broader community. Established over 60 years ago, the building now suffers from significant deterioration and is no longer adequate for the needs of its aging members. Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael - Jewish National Fund is leading its renovation. Join us in restoring this important space..

The completed project strengthens youth engagement, supports daily community life, and contributes to resilience and long?term regional development. Name: Peki’in Ein al-Janan Park Creating a New Community Park in the Druze Village of Peki’in
Description: KKL-JNF is supporting the establishment of Ein al-Janan Park in the Druze village of Peki’in in the Western Galilee - the first major public recreational park in the community. Designed for children and families, the park will include playgrounds, a ninja activity area, bicycle paths, shaded seating, and landscaped gathering spaces, helping strengthen community life, resilience, and everyday well-being in northern Israel following the war.
Name: Restoring Hope, Securing Water: The Kfar Aza Reservoir Rehabilitation Project
Description: The Project: Kfar Aza Reservoir Located just 1.5 km northwest of Kibbutz Kfar Aza, this vital reservoir captures floodwaters from the Hanun Stream. Originally established and fully funded by KKL-JNF in 1995, it has served as a cornerstone for local agriculture for nearly three decades.
