Empowering Israel's Resilience:

Giving Hope Through Sderot's Educational Transformation

KKL-JNF is supporting a project to develop and improve the surroundings of a new high school in the embattled city of Sderot.
Join us in transforming a haven for education into a symbol of hope and resilience and be a part of something truly meaningful. Together, we can make a difference.

In the heart of Sderot, a city in southern Israel that has constantly endured the hardships of terrorism and countless challenges, stands a beacon of resilience: the Amit pioneering public high school, symbolizing the perseverance of its community, even in the face of tragic events like those of October 7th.

This school, with its 36 classrooms and labs, welcomes approximately 1,200 students daily, offering not just education but a sanctuary from the looming specter of security threats. However, beyond its fortified walls lies an opportunity to further enhance hope and resilience within the community.

Empowering the Periphery
Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael – Jewish National Fund (KKL-JNF) is proud to partner in an initiative that seeks to elevate the surroundings of the school by enhancing its courtyard and entrance plaza to create a nurturing environment conducive to learning and growth.

This project is the outcome of a decision by KKL-JNF to strengthen peripheral cities in Israel and Sderot is one of three cities that will receive aid, as well as Kiryat Malachi and Nof HaGalil in the north.

Enhancing Accessibility and Community Pride
The improvements include landscaping, gardening, ground optimization, recreation facilities, benches.
As always, accessibility stands at the forefront of our efforts. Every aspect of the project is meticulously designed to ensure inclusivity. By putting an emphasis in this issue, we are not only creating physical accessibility but also sending a powerful message of inclusivity and equality.

This transformation goes beyond mere aesthetics; it is about fostering a sense of safety, inclusivity, and pride for the students and staff who call this school their second home.

Show Solidarity, Support Israel’s Spirit

In a region where the echoes of turmoil and strife still linger, every step towards progress is a testament to the unwavering Israeli spirit of the people of Sderot. Our initiative encompasses more than just landscaping; it’s about making a statement of solidarity and support for a community that has persevered in the face of adversity.

KKL-JNF invites you to join us in shaping a brighter future for Sderot’s youth. Your support will play a pivotal role in crafting an enriched educational landscape for generations to come.

Together, we can turn the challenges of the past into opportunities for growth and resilience. Your support today is more than just a contribution; it’s an investment in the future of Israel and its courageous youth.
