The Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael \u2013 Jewish National Fund (KKL-JNF) deploys an advanced fire detection system that is comprised of dozens of small drones as well as two monitoring systems &#8211; the \u2018Toren\u2019(Mast) system \u2013 a 10\/30-meter-high mast bearing a powerful 50kg camera, and the \u2018Tinshemet\u2019 (Barn Owl) system \u2013 a tethered camera drone capable of hovering up to 100 meters above ground.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><b>Swift Response, Greater Control<\/b><\/p><p>Powered by Artificial Intelligence algorithms and thermal imaging technology, the Tinshemet and Toren systems provide an unparalleled level of fire detection accuracy, detect any irregular heat or movement, and determine its exact location. This information is relayed to a Control and Command center, which alerts firefighting and rescue units.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>In the event of a blaze, the operating team can swiftly mobilize firefighting teams to the exact location while transmitting to them real-time data, helping them arrive in time to extinguish the flames or gain control before they spread further, providing them with the crucial head-start needed for effective firefighting operations.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>The systems and drones operate seamlessly in diverse environments and in all types of weather, from dense forests to remote mountainous regions. With their compact and agile design, they can navigate through challenging terrain, providing comprehensive coverage, and reducing the risk to human responders.
