A forest is more than a cluster of trees; it is a complex ecosystem on which plants, animals and humans depend. The first generation of KKL-JNF forests were primarily fast-growing mediterranean pines, which stabilized and replenished the soil, giving way to the next generation – the biodiverse, regionally specific forests of today. Our afforestation projects deal with strengthening ecosystem services, improving the human-forest interface, and rehabilitation and planning.
Be a partner in planting a sustainable Israel, tree by tree, heart by heart; adopt a KKL-JNF afforestation project.
