Aiding and Rehabilitating the North and South
Since the October 7 attacks of 2023, the State of Israel has been fighting for its existence on several fronts. In the western Negev region near the Gaza border, entire communities lie in ruins, their inhabitants yet to return. The north, meanwhile, is under heavy bombardment from Lebanon, displacing tens of thousands of civilians living near the Lebanese border. In addition, the dry heat and constant missile fire have ignited wildfires that have consumed some 20,000 dunam (about 5,000 acres) of forest in the north. KKL-JNF is responding on both civil fronts; in the south, we provided emergency support to the affected municipalities, and we will support their revival too. In the north, we equipped emergency support teams and are currently fighting to save our burnt forests. Your support in these efforts is crucial.
