Israel’s streams and wadis are a critical environmental, cultural and economic resource, but ongoing neglect and pollution has rendered many of them unusable, with all but the hardiest of aquatic life disappearing from our waterways as a result. KKL-JNF works together with local and national government bodies and NGOs to clean Israel’s waterways of pollution, reintroduce aquatic plants and wildlife, and stabilize streambeds, and engages in critical monitoring and research for the purpose of creating long-term plans for Israel’s waterways.
The rehabilitation of our streams and wadis is a national mission of utmost importance. Be our partner in bringing life back to our waterways, and invest in the landscape that we all adore and cherish.
